THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF CASSANDRA DIOGOSTINE.
"Devoted her life to caring for others"
WOLCOTT- Cassandra "Cassy" (Botelho) Diogostine, age 52, of Wolcott, passed away on March 22, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital from complications of COVID-19. She was the wife of John Diogostine.
Cassandra was born in Waterbury, on January 11, 1969, the daughter of Janet (Hall) Hart of Wolcott. She was a graduate of Wolcott High School. Cassy was the kind of person who took care of people. She was a home care aide, where she cared for others with kindness and dedication. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, going to concerts, sharing drinks, and taking silly selfies. She will be remembered most for her infectious smile and bottomless big heart.
Left to honor her legacy and treasure her memory, besides her husband and mother, are her three sons; David Morin Jr. and his wife, Meghan of Wolcott, John Morin and his wife, Christine of North Kingston, RI, and Damon Diogostine of Wolcott. John and Cassy were blessed with 3 grandchildren; Jordan, Lincoln and Rowan Morin; her step-brother, Richard Hart Jr., of Bethlehem; her sister-in-law, Lisa Suchy and her husband, Mike. Cassy will also be missed by her many nieces & nephews, including Andrew, Zachary & Autumn Cipriano; Jake Diogostine, Bradley & Korinn Chelednik; Trey & Jessika O'Brien; Grace & Adam Hart; and Heather Holick, as well as many friends. She was predeceased by her step-father, Richard Hart, her sister-in-law, Brandi Diogostine, and her ex-husband, David Morin Sr.
A celebration on Cassy's life will be held at a later date when all can gather and share together, safely.
