WATERBURY - Catherine Williams age 86, passed away peacefully at Village Green of Waterbury surrounded by the love and comfort of her family on Thursday, February 26, 2015 after a brief illness.
Catherine was born October 2, 1928 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Frank and Pauline (Niele) Pugliese. She was educated in local schools and worked for many years at Timex Inc. as an assembler until her retirement. Catherine enjoyed trips to the casino, and playing the slot machines, and was an avid setback player and spent many days at the DayBreak Senior Care Center. She was especially proud of her family and enjoyed countless hours spending time with them especially her grandchildren and great grandchild. Her greatest joy was being with her family during the holidays, especially Christmas.
Catherine is survived by her daughter Paula Williams of Waterbury, her son, Robert Williams and his fiancée Diane Soto of Waterbury and her brother Salvatore Incardona of Washington. Her Grandchildren Brandon and Aaron Williams, Cote Williams, and Michael Dagenais her great granddaughter Katherine Williams as well as many nieces, and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings John Pugliese Susan Petro, Angeline Williams, Joseph Incardona, Rosalie Cipriano, and Pauline Vellucci.
Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Eastside Memorial, "A CASEY FAMILY FUNERAL HOME AND TRIBUTE CENTER", 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with Catherine's family on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 till 3:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
