REMEMBERING AND HONORING THE LIFE OF CECILE THERRIEN

WATERBURY - Cecile D. (LeBlanc) Therrien, age 99 of Waterbury passed away peacefully at the Village of East Farms in Waterbury after an extended illness. She was the widow of Joseph Therrien.
Cecile was born on December 10, 1922 in Edmundston, N.B. to George and Louise (Leclerc) LeBlanc, and was educated in local schools. She moved from VanBuren, ME in 1939 to Waterbury. She was especially fond of spending time with her family, who were the most important part of her life. Cecile enjoyed traveling , playing cards and crocheting. She was employed for over 42 years as a Line Inspector at Timex and had previously been employed at Waterbury Clock. Cecile enjoyed a long and full life and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Left to honor her memory and cherish her legacy are her children: her daughter, Doreen Crowe and her husband, Thomas of Cheshire and her son, Roger Therrien and his wife, Barbara of Waterbury. She also leaves her devoted grandchildren; Michael and his wife, Denise Crowe, Carrie-Ann Crowe, Lori and Stacie Therrien and her great granddaughter, Kyleen Crowe .
The family would like to thank the staff at the Harbor for their kindness in caring for Cecile, especially "Leo", and her CNAs.
Funeral services for Mrs. Therrien will be held privately at the convenience of her family. She will be interred in the family plot next to her husband in Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
