WATERBURY - It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the family of Charles Coviello, age 77 of Waterbury, announce his unexpected passing at St Mary’s Hospital on Wednesday September 25, 2024. He was the devoted husband of Nancy (Burke) Coviello of 56 years.

Mr. Coviello was born in Waterbury in 1947, the son of the late Vincent and Anne (Radwick) Coviello. He was educated in local schools, graduating from Naugatuck High School, Waterbury State Technical College, Central CT State College and earned his Masters Degree in Quality Control from Falmouth. Charles proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force Reserves . He used his special skills in Quality Control with various employers; Lux Time, Schick Industries, Pratt and Whitney and finally United Technologies. Charles was an avid fisherman in his early years and most recently was enjoying his retirement with his devoted wife, Nancy. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.

Left to cherish his memory, besides his loving wife, Nancy are his niece, Amanda Noyes and her husband Keith.

Funeral services for Mr. Coviello will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care 1987 East Main St Waterbury CT 06705. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with Charles’ family on Thursday morning from 10:00 until the service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
