February 22, 1962 — October 30, 2023

OAKVILLE - Cheri Lynn (Landry) Marshall age 61 of Oakville passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, October 30, 2023. She was the wife of Robert Marshall.

Cheri was born February 22, 1962 at Waterbury Hospital the daughter of late Richard and Millicent (Bradshaw) Landry. Cheri graduated from Litchfield High School in 1980. In 1983 she was gifted with the birth to a wonderful son, Steven Landry. Cheri worked various jobs but landed a fantastic job as a caregiver for over 17 years for a client in Watertown, Connecticut. Cheri had recently retired and was enjoying her time going out to lunches with family and friends. She enjoyed walks around the neighborhood, to friends’ houses and to the Falls Avenue Senior Center in Oakville. She had the best of times chatting with family and friends on a daily basis, even in the hours leading up to her sudden passing.

Cheri is survived by her husband Robert Marshall of Oakville CT, son, Steven Landry of Crosby, Texas and brother, Rick Landry of Lake Worth Florida . She also leaves her aunts Eleanore Landry of Naugatuck CT and Francis O’Connor of Sarasota Florida, uncles; Willard Bradshaw of Middlebury, James Landry of Naugatuck and Randy Landry of Deltona FL She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews Locally and throughout New England and various parts of the country.
Cheri was predeceased by her aunt, Jeanine Labrecque, uncles; Dale Bradshaw, Gil Landry, George Landry and Larry Landry, grandparents; Celina Landry and Conrad Landry of Naugatuck CT.

Relatives and friends may visit with the Marshall and Landry families on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.at the Casey-O’Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St Oakville CT. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. A future celebration of her life will be held in the spring To honor Cheri’s memory and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Epilepsy Foundation of CT Inc at http://epilepsyct.com would be greatly appreciated by her family.
