LOVED TO TRAVEL
WATERBURY - Christina L. Dozier age 52, passed away on Tuesday March 30th 2021 at the hospital of central Connecticut in New Britain after a long illness.
Christina was born August 11th 1968 in Jamaica Queens NY the daughter of Archiemae (Frazier) Dozier and the late Dan Dozier. Christina was raised and educated in Aiken S.C. prior to moving back to Queens NY with her family. She moved to the Waterbury area in the early 2000's and spent several years working as a administrative assistant for MCCA of Waterbury. Christina loved to travel and has taken many cruises around the world. She was a long time and devoted member of Jehovah Witness congregation and was always happiest while hosting parties with her family.
Left to honor Christina's love and legacy besides her mother are her siblings Timothy Dozier of TN, Uraniuse Cruz of Fl and Lashell Dozier of FL as well as many nieces and nephews including Stephanie Dozier with who she helped raised and lived with as well as, Shaquima Dozier, Edward Bosompra, Tiatianne Carr, Robert Rambert Nakia Dozier, Corey Dozier and Shaina Neilson, as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Christina was predeceased by her sister Tameka Dozier.
Services for Mrs. Dozier will be held Saturday April 3rd at 5:00 pm at Casey's Eastside Memorial, 1987 E. Main Street, Waterbury, CT. A live stream of the services will be broadcasted to our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/EastsideMemorial/videos . Relatives and friends may visit with Christina's family on Saturday April 3rd 2021 from 2:00 4:30pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. We are all very concerned about everyone's health and safety so all federal and state guidelines relative to COVID #19 will be observed but you can be assured of a safe, clean and comforting environment to express your support to the Dozier family.
