WATERBURY Christine "Tina" Marie Nixon-Hall, age 62, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully at home on June 16, 2020. She was the loving wife of Dixon C. Hall
Christine was born October 20, 1957 in Waterbury, CT the daughter of the late Edward and Hattie (Miller) Nixon Jr. Tina was a graduate of Wilby High School and worked as a CNA throughout the Waterbury area nursing homes and was also a baker at Shaw's supermarket.
Left to cherish her memories and honor her love and legacy, besides her husband, Dixon of 17 years of marriage and 28 years together are her two daughters Shenita Saunders and Charmaine (Orlando) Edwards both of Waterbury. Her sisters Nadine Lusk of Indianapolis and Alicia Nixon of Waterbury., her brothers Donell Nixon of Waterbury, Anthony (Karen) Nixon of North Carolina, Eric Nixon of Indianapolis, David Nixon of Georgia, Sister in laws Sandra Robbinson, Lana and Debra Hall of Ansonia and Vera Nixon of Waterbury. She also leaves her grandchildren Brittany, Kyla, Jaelyn, Jayceon, Ny'Chelle as well as hosts of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and friends. She is predeceased by her parents as well as her brothers Larry and Timothy Nixon, Brother in law Jeffery Lusk, son Gary Nixon stepson Javon Zimmerman, and granddaughter Totianna Christine Marie Quinonez.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hall will be held on Friday, June 26th, 2020 at 11:30am at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury, burial will be held privately at the convenience of her family. Family and friends may visit with Christine's family, complying with all applicable social distancing guidelines on Friday morning from 10:00am until the time of the service at 11:30am. Please wait outside until instructed to enter the funeral home by staff members.
