WATERTOWN - Christine Winter, 55, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 5, 2021 at home surrounded by her close loved ones, after a long battle with cancer.
Christine was born in Derby CT. She was a very dedicated hard worker for the Lutheran Home of Southbury for over 27 years. Christine enjoyed listening to country music, and crocheting blankets for close friends and loved ones. What Christine enjoyed most was spending time with her family.
Christine leaves behind her daughter, Ashley Winter that she raised as a single parent. She also leaves behind, Linda Walters and Marty Walters whom she considered her mom and dad. Linda took Christine under her wings as her daughter. Additionally, she leaves her sister, Kimberly Karas and her three daughters; Kourtney, Danielle, Kaysie Karas and her sister, Deirdra Lynch and her sons; Braidyn and Wyatt Lynch.
Funeral Services for Christine will be held privately and at the convenience of her family. Relatives and friends may visit with her family on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main Street Oakville.
