WATERBURY -Claire Marie Plank age 72, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at home after a brief illness. She was the widow of Robert Plank.
Claire was born October 24th 1947 in Biddeford, Maine, the daughter of the late Theresa Nadeau. She was raised in the New Haven area and spent many years working as a CNA for various nursing homes throughout the Waterbury area. Claire enjoyed taking trips to the casinos and playing bingo but was always happiest while spending time with her family especially her four grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory and honor Claire's love and legacy, are her son, Robert Plank of Waterbury, her daughter, Sheree Wester and her husband, Brian of Waterbury, as well as, her two sisters; Rose DeFeo and her husband, Jeff of Alva, FL and Laura Jean Cossette and her husband Joseph of Waterbury. Claire was blessed with four adoring grandchildren, several nieces and nephews as well as, other extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers Edward and Robert Tatro.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Plank will be held privately and at the convenience of her family. There are no calling hours.
