THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF CLAUDE PAQUIN

WATERBURY - Mr. Claude (Steve) G. Paquin, age 71 of Waterbury, passed away on Sunday on May 22,2021 after a long battle with cancer.

Born on July 1, 1949, in Trois Riviere, Quebec, Canada, the son of Armand and Mariette (Veilleux) Paquin, Steve moved to Connecticut when he was in third grade. He adapted quickly to his new home, learning a new language, and making new friends. He loved his new country and became a United States citizen in 1959 at the age of 10. He attended St Mary's Elementary School and Kaynor Technical School in Waterbury. Although he was medically unable to serve during the war in Vietnam, he became an avid supporter of the military.

Steve was a lover of all things dangerous. He loved to scuba dive, skydive, target shoot and most of all, ride his motorcycle. He loved to travel, enjoyed the challenge of chess and the inspiration of music.

Left to cherish his memories and honor his legacy is his sister Suzanne (Sue) Paquin and her partner Brian Lance, of Lake Suzy, Florida.

Steve's family would like to extend a special thanks to VITAS Hospice.
Services for Mr. Paquin will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
