WATERBURY Claudia Lynne Kiefer, age 53, of Waterbury, CT, passed away unexpectedly August 6, 2015.
Claudia was born November 8, 1961, in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of Joseph Kiefer of Waterbury and the late Olga (Klemchuk) Kiefer. She attended Watertown High School and had worked at a local bank.
She was survived by her loving family; brothers Michael Kiefer and his wife Loren (Sears) Kiefer of Harwinton, CT; David Kiefer and his wife, Sarah (LeFebvre) Kiefer of South Londonderry, VT; Aunt & Uncle Lillian and Arthur Vecchi of Oakville, CT .She also leaves behind Aunt & Uncle: Helen and the late Peter Klemchuk of California, also Aunt & Uncle: Patti and the late Alex Klemchuk of Vermont. Niece Ruby Kiefer, nephews Charlie Kiefer, Luke Kiefer, Michael Kiefer Jr. and Matt Nelson as well as many cousins and extended family. Claudia leaves behind her beloved cats (Sunny and Princess). She had a sincere love for all animals, a unique talent for art, and enjoyed being in the outdoors and gardening.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the entire medical staff at Lawrence memorial hospital who were extremely kind to her thru her illness. A memorial service will be held in the near future at the discretion of the family.
