WATERBURY - Craig Niquette, age 74 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 12th 2022 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by the love of his family after an extended illness. He was the widower of Barbara (Gagne) Niquette.

Craig was born on April 23rd 1947 in Winooski Vermont, the son of the late Albert Maurice and Dorothy (Hammond) Niquette. He was graduate of Shelton High School and was the long-time owner operator of Rent A Painter Auto Body Shop in Beacon Falls. Craig was proud of his various accomplishments such as, being a licensed pilot and certified scuba diver but his great accomplishments was his family. The happiest days of his life were spent with his family, and he especially looked forward to the large family gatherings where his most important role was as grandfather and challenging all of his grandchildren to have the time of their lives, learning the true value of family. Craig also enjoyed spending time outdoors, boating and camping and he was an avid boxing fan. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.

Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory are his children; Matthew Niquette and his fiancé, Brittany Addams of Millinocket, ME, Lisa Ozga, and her husband, Thomas of Cromwell, Jody Miller and her husband, Brian of Harwinton, Jenifer Mancini and her husband, Richard of Thomaston, Elizabeth Crouthamel and her husband, Jack of Prospect, and Sandra Niquette and her husband, Antolin of Waterbury. In addition, he also leaves his brothers, Michael Niquette of Cape Cod, MA, Randal Niquette of Southbury, his sisters; Karen Whitcomb of Fl, and Robin Moscato of Shelton. Craig was blessed with 22 grand children and 1 great grandchild and was predeceased by his brother, Lance Niquette and sister Brenda Tanuis.

Funeral services for Mr. Niquette will be held on Wednesday, February 16th, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. from Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1987 East Main St Waterbury, CT to Our Lady of Loreto Church Ardsley Rd Waterbury when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a,m. Entombment will follow in
the Queen of Peace Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with Craig's family on Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. We continue to remain very concerned about the ongoing pandemic so masks will be required during all indoor services regardless of your current vaccination status. Craig was a generous and loyal supporter of St Jude's Children's Hospital.
