OAKVILLE - Ms. Cynthia "Cindy" Deveikas age 59 of Oakville, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, July 13, 2017.
Cynthia was born on March 2, 1958 in Waterbury. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Susan (Neuman) Deveikas. She attended local schools, and worked for many years as a CNA at Apple Health and Rehab in Watertown. Cindy loved the beach, was an avid fan of John Mellencamp and, she enjoyed the company of many wonderful and loyal friends. She also enjoyed spending time at the Watertown VFW and trips to the casinos. Above all else, she was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and aunt, and cherished everything about family, which was her passion in life. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Cindy leaves her two daughters; Stacey (Michael) Deveikas of Thomaston and Shayna (Ben) Deveikas of Seymour, in addition to her grandson, Brody Bartoletti and her brother, Charles Deveikas and his wife, Melanie and nephew, Jacob and niece, Charlotte all of Watertown, MA. She also leaves her trusted and loyal four-legged companion, Cooper and several extended family members and close friends. Cindy was predeceased by her longtime companion, Billy Hardt.
Relatives and friends may visit with Cindy's family on Monday July 17, 2017 from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at the O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St. Oakville CT. 06779 Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
