Beloved Son, Brother and Fiancé
WATERBURY – Damaso Byron Pittman, age 31, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 22, 2023.
Damaso was born October 27, 1991 in Waterbury, CT, the son of Byron L. Pittman and Mariely Torres-Depina of Waterbury. He was a graduate of Kennedy High school and was working as an assembler for i2 Systems in Morris, CT. Damaso had a passion for music and loved to sing, rap and dance and was known to be “the life of the party”, always singing and greeting everyone with a rhyme and a smile. Damaso was the ultimate friend, always looking to cheer someone who might find themselves down. He was a die-hard NY Jets fan and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to honor his legacy and treasure his memory, besides his parents, are his fiancé, Madeline Caraballo, and her two children; Joseline and Joseph Madera all of Waterbury, his step parents; Cynthia Michelle Pittman and Joao Depina, his siblings; Jashua Felix of Bristol, Brandon Pittman of Waterbury, Dignalee Jorge of Bristol, Chantell Pittman of Bristol, and Brianna Pittman of Waterbury, his nephews; Jayden G. Colon, Julian E. Colon, Joel E. Rivera, Lamar A. Jones and JQuan Ballard Jr. and his niece Jazmine M. Rivera, as well as his uncles, Edwin, and Junie, and his aunts; Zelidez, Elba, Miriam, Evelyn, Madelyn, Elizabeth, Denise, and Alicia. He also leaves his grandfather, Bert T. Pittman Sr., his stepsister, Shanita Dryer and his uncle Eddie Pittman and other family members and many friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Pittman will be held on Friday, March 3rd 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St. Waterbury, CT. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury.
