Miss Danaya Foster

WATERBURY - It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family of Danaya Leonna Foster, age 25, of Waterbury, announce her tragic passing on Friday, July 19, 2024, following a motor vehicle accident.

Danaya was born in Waterbury, CT on July 31, 1998, the daughter of Nicole Kinch and Zachary Lee Foster. She was a graduate of Kennedy High School. She pursued her passion for caring for others by working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at The Village at Kensington Place in Meriden and attended Lincoln Technical School to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. Her love for the elderly was evident in the compassion she showed while tending to their needs. Danaya was a loving and vibrant individual who adored singing, dancing, and giving warm hugs. She was a cherished "daddy's princess" and will be remembered fondly for her kind-hearted nature and zest for life. May she rest in eternal peace.

Left to cherish her memory besides her devoted parents she leaves behind her brothers; Zachary Jr., Prinxe Foster, Isiah, Adonais, and King, stepbrothers; J'Lonn, Tayvous, R'Ashamell, Rontay, and Shawn Jr., stepsisters; Monnie, Alaysa, and A'Nayh, fiancé- Morris Morey, Grandfather- Bill Anderson and wife and great grandfather- Alvin Rieley. Mothers Fiance Shawn Coles. Aunts; Janice Anderson, Jackie Anderson, Lillian Denise Edward-Saunders, Maria Foster, Mary Neil Foster-Hardy, and Theresa Turpin, Uncle Garrett Lee Kinch. She also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Danaya was predeceased by her grandmother, Noel Kinch, grandmother, Mattie Mae Turpin Foster, grandfather, Bail Freeney, great grandmother, Bertha Rieley, great grandmother Rosa Cothrine and Uncles Walter Foster, and Terrance Saunders.

Funeral services for Miss. Foster will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, 12:00 p.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1987 East Main St., Waterbury. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury.
