WOLCOTT - Daniel Anthony Cefaretti, age 64, passed away on November 22, 2020 at St. Mary's Hospital due to COVID-19 complications.
Daniel born on August 25, 1956 in Waterbury CT, the son of the late Anthony and Theresa Cefaretti. Dan was raised in Oakville CT, where he met the love of his life. Family was everything to this great and wonderful man. The small pleasures brought the most happiness to Dan; from phone conversations with his kids on his evening drive home from work, home projects where he knew how to fix or make anything, or the amazing dinners he would chef up every day. Dan knew how to bring out the most love in everyone. Filled with adventure, he loved long drives with his wife and daughter, with no destination planned, just going where the road would take him. Nature was always a calling. Dan enjoyed the outdoors, somehow finding time to go hunting and fishing. On Sunday's he watched football hopeful that the Giants wouldn't blow their lead and lose the game, but above all he simply wanted to spend time with his family. He will always be remembered as the full of life and loving man that he was, always with a smile on his face.
Left to honor Dan's love and legacy is his wife of 33 years, Justine Cefaretti who was the love of his life, his four children; Glenn Pelletier of Wolcott CT, Ryan Cefaretii and his wife Lauren of San Diego CA, Anthony Cefaretti and his wife Johanna of Oakville CT, Danielle Cefaretti of Wolcott CT, and his three precious grandchildren Gia Ainsley, Hunter Daniel, and Olivia Rose, his three siblings; Joanne Healy, Michael Cefaretti and his wife Susan, and Mark Cefaretti, as well as nieces and nephews.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines, a graveside service will be held on November 30, 2020 at 10:00am, at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Watertown Connecticut.
