Mr. Daniel Alexander Outler

May 7, 1972 — February 5, 2025

Beloved son, brother and uncle.

WATERBURY—It is with deep sorrow that the family of Daniel Alexander Outler, age 52, of Waterbury, announces the unexpected passing of their beloved son, brother, and uncle on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025.

Dan was born May 7th, 1972, in Waterbury, CT, the son of Katherine (Adams) Outler and the late Dorris Eugene Outler. Dan was a proud graduate of Kennedy High School and furthered his education at the University of New Haven, where he earned a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering. His professional career included positions with several companies throughout Connecticut, including Otis Elevator, Pitney Bowes, and Gregor Technologies, most recently with the Defense Contract Management Agency (Department of Defense). Outside of his career, Dan was a multifaceted individual with a passion for crafting his own IPA Beer. He was a true “jack of all trades,” known for his extensive collection of tools and his willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need of repairs or improvements around their home. His love for adventure was evident in his enthusiasm for off-roading, often traveling to Jeep Jamborees throughout the Northeast, where he found camaraderie among fellow “Jeepers”. Dan cherished the opportunities his work afforded him, allowing him to travel to various countries, including China, Japan, and Germany. Each journey added to the richness of his life experiences. Though he departed this world too soon, leaving those who loved him with a void in their lives that will be impossible to fill, Dan lived fully and left an indelible mark on those who knew him.

Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory are his mother, Katherine (Adams) Outler; his siblings Felicia Outler of Waterbury, Russell Outler and his wife, Tory of Middletown, and Victoria Outler of Waterbury. He also leaves his nieces and nephews; Danielle, Layna, Adanna, and Ira Outler. He was predeceased by his father, Dorris Eugene Outler and his grandparents; Willie Adams Sr. and Mary Ligon Adams and Willie D & Bessie Outler.
