WATERBURY– It is with profound sadness that the family of David G LeBlanc, age 61 of Waterbury, announce his peaceful passing on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at St Marys Hospital surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.
David was born on July 27, 1962, in Waterbury, the son of Deacon Gaspard LeBlanc and the late Denise (Frechette) LeBlanc. He was educated in local schools and proudly served his country in the United State Air Force. David worked for many years in the telecommunications industry as a technician and was a man of many varied interests. He was an avid fisherman and an accomplished artist with special talents. He enjoyed various activities and was an active participant at the West Haven V.A. hospital services. David was exceptional in almost every way and he felt very blessed to have been a devoted father, grandfather and uncle. Nothing in the world was more important to him than his family. He will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, daughters; Caitlin Geary-Seigars of Bath ME, Emilene LeBlanc and her fiancé, Dennis Nelson of Bristol, Jillian LeBlanc and her partner, Joshua Hunt of Southington, son, James LeBlanc of Southington and his sister, Michele LeBlanc. He also leaves his grandchildren who were the apple of his eye; Maddelynn, Caralynn, Dahlia, Abigail and soon to be Baby Jack as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Philip LeBlanc.
Funeral services for Mr. LeBlanc will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1987 East Main St., Waterbury. Burial with full military honors will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with David’s family on Tuesday morning from 10:00 until the service at 11:00 a.m. To honor David’s memory donations to Project Healing Waters https://projecthealingwaters.org would be greatly appreciated by his family.
