WATERTOWN- David L. Moody, age 76 of Watertown, recently passed away at his home. He was the beloved husband of Donna Lovallo Moody.
David was born on May 8, 1943 in Waterbury CT, the son of the late Kenneth and Elise (Taylor) Moody. He graduated from Wilby High School and then from Bentley College in Massachusetts. David was a former Waterbury Police Officer and also had a used car dealership, Aurora Motors in Torrington, CT. He loved to restore old cars and attend car shows, as well as, auctions. David was a great animal lover of dogs and cats. He made the world a better place for all of us, and we are blessed and thankful to have had him in our lives.
Besides his wife Donna, David is survived by his son, David A. Moody and his wife, Amy and his daughter, Marie Hendricks of Maine, four grandchildren, his sisters and brother in-law, Martha and Anthony Vitale of Waterbury and Carmel and Jim Perillo of Watertown, and mother in-law, Elsie Lovallo of Waterbury.
The family would like to give a special thanks to David's good friend, Ted DellaCamera of Oakville for his friendship and support.
