Mr. David Rovinetti

Devoted son and father 

 Oakville – It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the family of David Rovinetti, age 52, of Oakville, announce his passing on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Hartford Hospital with his mom by his side, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. 

 Dave was born on February 12, 1972, in Waterbury, the son of Pamela (Brown) Rovinetti. He graduated from Ss Peter and Paul School and Crosby High School. He loved camping, hiking with his dog, Skootie, fishing, volleyball, playing cards, and trips to the casino. As a young man Dave worked for many years at the old Dominic’s Pizza before establishing a successful online antiques business. At the time of his passing, he was working towards obtaining his CDL license and was excited to begin a new career. A devoted son and father, Dave was always willing to help family and friends. We will all miss his beautiful smile. Gone too soon, we are blessed to have had David in our lives. 

 Left to cherish his memories beside his loving mom, Pam of Wolcott, is his son, Robbie, who he loved very much, his grandmother, Gert Brown of Wolcott, his sister, Tracy Kulesza, his best friend, Darvin Hernandez who he loved like a brother, aunts Pauline (Frank) LaCava and Marilyn (Ray) Needham, nieces, Alissa and Jamie Kulesza, nephew, Kayden Vasquez, and several cousins, as well as Robbie’s mother, Missi Block, and his girlfriend Michelle Kandefer. 

 All services will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
