Devoted husband and father
WATERBURY – David V. Stolfi, age 81 of Waterbury passed away peacefully on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Apple Rehab in Watertown, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family after a long illness. He was the devoted husband of Barbara (Johnson) Stolfi.
Mr. Stolfi was born on February 16, 1941 in Waterbury, the son of the late Vincent and Irene (Briotti) Stolfi. He was a graduate of Crosby High School, Class of 1959. He and his wife both retired from Oak Hill School for the Blind and enjoyed their retirement spending time at the beach and traveling. David was an avid fan of jazz and especially loved Tony Bennett. He lived a full life blessed by his family and friends. A devoted husband, father, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to cherish his memory beside his wife Barbara are his children; Janet Alfano and her husband Mark of Southington, Nancy Lundy and her husband Mark of South Windsor, and David Stolfi and his wife AnnMarie of Newington, his step-sons; Stephen A. Martone of New Britain and Jeffrey A. Martone of Brattleboro, VT. David and Barbara were blessed by 8 grandchildren: Jamie, Kaitlyn, Stephen, Jackson, Charles, Giuliana, Gabriella, and Isabella and four great-grandchildren: Kendal, Zyaire, Kallie, and Rileigh.

Relatives and friends may visit with David’s family from 3:00 until 5:00 pm on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1987 East Main Street, Waterbury, CT.
