WATERBURY – Davion Jamar Waul, age 20 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2022.
Davion was born on January 23, 2002, in Waterbury, CT and was the cherished son of Audrea (Coldspring) and Damian Waul. He was educated in the Waterbury Public School system as well as in Jamaica, West Indies. He was also a longtime member of Unity Temple Church in Waterbury, CT, and attended Loring Job Corps Center in Limestone, Maine. Davion’s hobbies included basketball and dancing. He was a foodie and had an intense sweet tooth. He will be fondly remembered for his unique sense of humor. One of Davion’s favorite things in this world was spending time with his family and he especially loved being an uncle. Davion came into this world like a lion, went out like a lamb, and will be forever missed by his family and friends.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory along with his parents are his brothers; Dante and Rouan of Waterbury, CT, and Romaine of Jamaica, West Indies, as well as his sisters; Najae and her husband Jason, Krychelle, and Aanija of Waterbury, CT, and Reshema, Deshanti, Deshari, and Deshanai of Jamaica, West Indies. Davion also leaves behind his beloved paternal grandmother, Rosalee Bigby of Jamaica, West Indies, his godmother Tara Beers of Waterbury, CT, his godfathers Robert Howell of Riviera Beach, Fl, and Roy Davis of Waterbury, CT, his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many, many cousins. Davion was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Rouen and Utilda Coldspring, his paternal grandfather, Gidannal Waul, and his aunt, Suzette Coldspring.
Funeral services for Davion will be private according to the wishes of his family.
