PROSPECT, CT - Mrs. Debra S. Neri, age 59 of Prospect, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday May 6, 2015 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of Jim Schmidt.
Mrs. Neri was born October 8th 1955 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Daddona) Stanco. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and was in banking for forty years, working her way up to the position of Financial Center Manager Assistant Vice President at Bank of America. She enjoyed gardening, taking her dogs for long walks and was an avid quilt and candle collector.
Besides her husband of 20 years, she is survived by her sister, Marilyn Brevetti and her husband, Louis Sr. of Wolcott, her nephew, Daniel F. Brevetti and his fiance, Kate and Luis Brevetti Jr and his wife, Nicole and their daughters, Gianna and Lucia.
Funeral services for Mrs. Neri will be held on Wednesday, May 13th 2015 at 10:00am at Saint Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Prospect, CT when a Mass of Christina Burial will be celebrated. Those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. There are no calling hours.
