Donald C. Barber ?" age 58, of Chandler Dr Prospect, died unexpectedly Friday February 15, at Saint Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of Kathleen (Doran) Barber.
Mr. Barber was born October 12th, 1949 in Waterbury CT the son of the late Harold and Alvina (Sichau) Barber. He was a graduate of Kaynor Technical School and worked briefly at Baskin Robbins Ice Cream in Southbury. He was currently employed at M.J. Daly where he worked in the warehouse and as a driver. He was member of the local Teamsters 677 and enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchild.
Besides his wife Kathy he is survived by his son Scott Barber, of Prospect; his daughter Kellie Farr, of Prospect; his brother Harold Barber, of South Carolina; and his grandson Alexander Farr. He is predeceased by a brother Edwin Barber
Funeral Services for Mr. Barber will be held on Tuesday February 19th at 10:00 AM at the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home, 1581 East Main St, Waterbury, CT Family and Friends may visit the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury.
