THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF DONALD MALONEY
WATERBURY -Donald F. Maloney, age 86 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 2, 2020 at home, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family, after a brief illness.
Donald was born December 31st 1933 in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Harold and Helen (Lockwood) Maloney. He attended both St. Francis Xavier and Leavenworth High School. Donald spent 48 years working as a sheet metal fabricator at Timex Corp until his retirement. In retirement, his work ethic led him to a second vocation as a driver for Labonne's Supermarket in Watertown. Donald was an avid sports fan and excelled at playing softball and football. He also enjoyed traveling, especially his many trips to Myrtle Beach SC, California and Cape Cod. Donald also looked forward to the annual Lockwood family reunion at Quassy. One of Donald's favorite passions was spending time perfecting his prized back yard. He was proud to be a Bunker Hill resident and enjoyed socializing with his neighbors. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.

Left to honor Don's memory and legacy, are his children; Thomas Maloney and his wife, Lisa of Hamden, Michael Maloney and his wife, Elizabeth of CA, Patricia Maloney and her partner, Ronald of Naugatuck and Donna Distasio and her husband, Vincent of Watertown. He also leaves his former wives; Rita Maloney and Allene Maloney as well as his brother, Jack Maloney and his wife, Diane of Waterbury and his sister, Judy Geary and her husband, Bob of Wolcott. Donald was blessed with three grandchildren, Tara and Matthew DiStasio and Michaela Maloney. He was predeceased by his siblings; Richard and David Maloney and his sister, Eleanor McLennan.
Funeral Services for Mr. Maloney will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1987 East Main St Waterbury, CT 06705 has been honored to assist the Maloney family during this difficult time.
