THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF DONALD WINSLOW
WOLCOTT - Donald F. Winslow, age 65 of Wolcott, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Wednesday October 10, 2018. He was the husband of Kathy (Eichman) Winslow.
Donald was born on November 21, 1952 the son of the late Frank and Joyce (Small) Winslow. He was employed for many years as an Assemblyman at AMCI in Terryville. Don was a Master Self Defense Expert having attained a black belt in Kun Toa, the Art of Self Defense. Don loved spending time outdoors and he was an avid bowler. What was most important to Don was his family and he would do everything he could to support them and spend time with them. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Besides his Wife Kathy of 25 years he leaves his daughters, Barbara Santiago and her husband Jonathan of Bristol and Julia Eichman and her fiancé, Louis Gonzales of Waterbury. He also leaves his grandchildren; Michael, Destiny, Evealise, Angeliese, A'Lani and Arabella, great grandson, Jordan, his mother-in-law Gladys Eichman of Waterbury and brother and daughter -in-law Fred and Jacqueline Eichman of Bristol NH. In addition, he leaves his very special friends William and Kim Willette of Wolcott and his faithful four-legged companion, Dallas.
Funeral services for Mr. Winslow will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home, 1987 East Main St @Southmayd Rd Waterbury CT 06705. Burial will follow in Mt Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Relatives and friends may visit with Donald's family on Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the service at 10:00 a.m. To honor Donald's memory and to assist his family, donations to assist them with final arrangements c/o Kathy Winslow 290 Todd Rd Wolcott CT 06716. Donald never got formally dressed for anything. Casual attire for his services would be appropriate.
