OAKVILLE - Donna D. Marcil, age 80 of Oakville, passed away unexpectedly at Waterbury Hospital in the loving embrace of her beloved and longtime companion, Michael Rinaldi on Saturday, November 14th 2020.
Donna was born December 30th 1939 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late John and Florence (Graham) Hanson. She was a graduate of Wilby High School and spent many years as a banking supervisor with the former Bank of Boston. After retiring from the bank, Donna spent several years working as a CNA throughout the greater Waterbury area. Donna looked forward to spending summers camping in North Woodstock, CT and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and she was an avid cat lover and watching an feeding the birds from her window as well as her love for flowers..
Left to cherish the many memories of Donna and carry on her legacy, besides her fiance, of over 40 years, with whom she made her home, Michael Rinaldi are her 3 children. Paul Marcil of New York, Robin Juliani of North Carolina, Mark Marcil Sr. of CT as well as 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and Paul Marcil of New York, as well as her beloved cat, Penelope.
Funeral services for Ms. Marcil will held in the Spring of 2021 and further details will be announced at that time.
