WATERBURY - Doris S. Pluff, age 71 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at Saint Mary's Hospital surrounded by the love and comfort of her family on Saturday January 9th 2016.
Doris was born August 5th 1944, in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Ethel (Joray) Colella. Doris was a loving and dedicated home maker who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Among her survivors are her children, Lawrence Sarandrea and his wife, Julie-Ann, Joseph Colella and his wife, Naomi, Edward Sedlak and his fiancé, Barbara Heyward, Dawn Wells and her husband, David, Debra Pluff, Tracy Pluff, Tammy Latino and her fiancé, Jacob Elliott and Tina Latino. She also leaves her brothers, Michael Colella and his wife, Donna, Vincent Colella and his wife, Mary, Deacon Charles Colella and his wife, Marion, her sister, Rita Latino as well as her thirteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren and nieces, Robin Latino and Christine Montague.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pluff will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2015 at 10:00am from Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home, 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd, to Saints Peter and Paul Church when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in New Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury.
