Devoted mother, grandmother, and sister
TERRYVILLE – Dorothy (Dottie) Muccino Webb, of Terryville, age 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2024, after a courageous battle with dementia.
Dottie was born on October 19, 1946, in Waterbury, CT. She graduated from Wilby high School and went on to work for many years with special needs individuals at both Southbury Training School and WARC of Waterbury. Dottie also volunteered for many years for the Special Olympics. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed football. All who knew Dottie loved her humor. Dottie loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed immensely by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Left to honor her memory is her daughter, Danielle (Stephen) Rinaldi of Plymouth, her sister, Joyce (Ronald) Thomas of Waterbury, brother, Bobbie O’Neil of Arizona, her grandchildren; Delilah (Nick) Cosmos, Samantha (Jay) Rosado, Caitlin (Chris) Morales, great grandchildren; Nisia Cosmos, Lilyana Soles, and Giovanni Soles, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter, Deborah Muccino who welcomes her with open arms, her sister, Mary Murphy, and her brothers, Daniel and Thomas Byron.
A Graveside burial service for Dottie will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Cemetery, 203 Spring Lake Road, Waterbury. All are welcome to attend the prayer service directly at the cemetery. The family invites you to consider making a donation in Dottie’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association,
