WATERBURY - Eduvina Vazquez, age 85, passed from this life to eternal life on February 14, 2021.
Eduvina was one of four children born to the late Justo Quinones and Bernabela Rivera-Quinones on October 25, 1935 in Moca, Puerto Rico. After moving to Connecticut she married her husband Julio Vazquez Sr. and started her family which was her biggest joy. Eduvina enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and cooking during the holidays. Eduvina will always be remembered for her unconditional love for her family and contagious laugh.
Eduvina is survived by two sons, Julio Vazquez Jr and his wife Luz Castro of Waterbury and Oscar Lucret and his wife Leslie of Lancaster, PA; three daughters: Elsie, Evangelista, and Linda Vazquez of Waterbury. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Elizer, Crystal, Angel, Cassandra, Oscar, Kyana, Julian, Elisa, Michelle, Nicole and great grandchildren JoNiya, JaNiece, Sebastian and Amada.
Funeral services for Mrs. Vasquez will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday February 23rd 2021 at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services 1987 East Main St Waterbury, CT 06705. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery Waterbury. A walk-through visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of the service at 11:00. All governmental requirements concerning COVID #19 will be strictly enforced.
