THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF Edward Heckelman
WATERTOWN - Mr. Edward Heckelman, 72, of Watertown, beloved husband of Lucille (Celentano) Heckelman, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Waterbury Hospital.
Born in Waterbury CT on July 11, 1949, he was the son of the late Walter and Katherine (Maher) Heckelman. Edward and Lucille lived in Watertown since 1975. He was a former employee of Curtis Products and R & R Manufacturing. Edward was a car enthusiast and liked drag racing. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to cherish his memory and honor his legacy, besides his wife of 52 years, are his sons; David and his wife, Michelle Heckelman of Oakville, Steven Heckelman of Torrington, his brother, George and his wife, Claire Heckelman of Oakville, his sister, Catherine Swenson of Safety Harbor, FL. Edward and Lucille were blessed with three grandsons; David Heckelman Jr. and his wife, Amanda, Michael and Nicholas Heckelman as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may visit with the Heckelman family on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 6;00 till 8:00 pm at the O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main Street Oakville CT 06779. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. We are all still concerned about the pandemic, consequently masks will be required at all times while indoors.
