OAKVILLE- Edward T. Keller Jr., age 57, of Sky Hollow CT in Oakville, died Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. He was the former husband of Sue Gray of Waterbury.
Edward was born in Waterbury on June 2, 1951, the son of Ruth M. (Nuebert) Keller of Middlebury and the late Edward T. Keller Sr. He was educated in local schools and graduated from Wilby High School, Class of 1969. He was employed for over 32 years as a Team Leader at Allegheny Ludlum Steel in Waterbury where he also was actively involved in the company safety committee. He was an avid bowler and won many awards including several for perfect games.
Besides his mother, Edward leaves two sons, Robert P. and Christopher A. Keller both of Oakville and his sister, Diane Hardt and her husband Lou of Watertown. He also leaves a nephew Michael L. Hardt of Watertown, an Aunt Marion "Mitzi" F. Marciano of Watertown and two grandchildren, Eddie Michael Soule and Kadence Marie Soule both of Watertown. His son Edward M. Keller is deceased.
Funeral services for Mr. Keller will be held on Monday December 22, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main St. Oakville CT. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Waterbury.
