WATERBURY CT: Edwina Carpentieri age 77 of Prospect passed away on Saturday, August 30th, 2008 with her family by her side after an extended illness. She was the wife of Aniello Carpentieri
Mrs. Carpentieri was born February 19, 1931 in Old Town Maine the daughter of the late Andrew Anderson and Hattie (Shay) Nicolar.
Besides her husband she is survived by two sons Patrick and Craig Kelly both of Waterbury, two daughters, Dawn Kelly of Plainville, and Andrea Petrario of Waterbury, three brothers Robert Anderson of Lincolnville, ME. Roland Nicolar of Old Town ME; and Leroy Nicolar of Old Town, ME; three sisters Geraldine Haddad of Old Town, ME; Elizabeth Stokes, of Charlestown, SC; and Emma Nicolar of Old Town, ME, thirteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by two sons, Winter, and Wayne Kelly.
Memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Carpentieri can be made to the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center 1075 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT 06708
Services for Mrs. Carpentieri will be held privately at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
