WOLCOTT- Elaine (Groleau) Corbett, was reunited with her beloved husband, the late "Jack" Corbett on her 74th birthday, Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the Cheshire House peacefully surrounded by her family

Born in Waterbury CT on November 3, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Cecile (Beaudoin) Groleau. She graduated from Wolcott High School and was employed at PAR Precision in Wolcott until Jack took ill and she retired to stay home and care for him. Spending time with her family was the was what was most important to Elaine during her lifetime..
Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory are her children; Donna Corbett of Wolcott, Paula and her husband, Steve Avoletta of Torrington, Mary-Lou Corbett of Indian Trail, NC, John J. and his wife. Kristin Corbett of Middlebury, her grandchildren; Michael Swirski, Nicolette and Dylan LaMadeleine, Bailey Trocolla and Robbie Corbett, her sister, Lucille and her husband, Tom Kolakoski of Wolcott, and several nieces and nephews. Elaine was predeceased by her sisters; Terri Dion and Claire Audet.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, November 8, 2021, in St Pius X Church/St. Basil The Great Parish 525 Woodtick Rd, Wolcott. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. We continue to remain concerned about the ongoing pandemic so masks will be required during all indoor services whether you are vaccinated or not.
