Eleanor M. Tucker

January 11, 1932 — January 6, 2015

WOLCOTT, CT - Mrs. Eleanor M. Tucker, age 82 of Wolcott, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and comfort of her family on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of David Tucker.

Mrs. Tucker was born on January 11, 1932 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Augustino and Nora (Walsh) Muccino. She was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School and spent many years working as a receptionist at Timex Corp. After her retirement she spent several years assisting her cousin at his liquor store, "The Liquor Outlet" in Wolcott where she worked as a sales clerk. She was a parishioner of St Pius X Church and when she wasn't traveling or working she would enjoy a nice quite day at home surrounded by her husband and loving family who will cherish the memories.

Eleanor's family would like to thank the staff at Saint Mary's hospital emergency and telemetry departmetns for the wonderful care they provided to Eleanor.

Besides her husband of 42 years, Eleanor leaves her son, David G. Tucker Jr of Prospect, her daughters, Tracey Radaskie of Waterbury, and Tammy Lynn Thomas of FL. She also leaves her brother, William Muccino of Watertown, her four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother, John Muccino.

Funeral services for Mrs. Tucker will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 9:00a.m. from Eastside Memorial, " A Casey Family Funeral Home & Tribute Center" To Saint Pius X Church 517 Woodtick Rd Wolcott, to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Committal services will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Friends and family may visit with Eleanor's family on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 till 4:00pm at the funeral home.
