OAKVILLE -Eleanor Woznikaitis, age 88 of Oakville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 26, 2016 at her home. She was the widow of John T. Woznikaitis.
Eleanor was born September 2, 1928, in Oakville, CT, the daughter of the late John & Kazmera Kulikauskas. She was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her cats, gardening, tag sales and was also a collector of many items such as pictures and bowls.
Among her survivors are her children, Johanna Ambrose and her husband Mark Sr. of Oakville, Cheryl Paternoster and her husband Tony of Watertown, a brother Albert Kulikauskis and his wife, June of Torrington, her grandchildren, Amanda, John, Kerra, Mark Jr., Stephen and Amber, and her great grandchildren, Ursula, Jasper, Sophie-Lynn, Nathan, Tobi, Tabitha and Christian, including several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Woznikaitis will be held on Saturday October 29, 2016 with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Church at 11:00am followed by committal services in Mt. St. James Cemetery, Watertown. Relatives and friends may visit with Eleanor's family at the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main St. Oakville CT, Saturday morning from 9:00am until the time of the service.
