AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME - Elizabeth Ann Grohoski, age 78, of Watertown, died peacefully on July 9 at CT Hospice in Branford after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was the widower of Raymond Grohoski.

Mrs. Grohoski was born September 5th 1932, the daughter of the late Harry and Ellen (Sweeney) Lynch. She was raised in Thomaston and was a graduate of Thomaston High School. Betty was a loving, dedicated mother and homemaker who took great pride in maintaining her home. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Church.

Among her survivors are her son, Kevin Grohoski of Watertown with whom she resided, her best friend and canine companion Jack, her sister Clare Clark and nieces Lynn, Kathy, Marybeth, and Meghan. She was pre deceased by her son Keith Grohoski, and her two sisters, Rose Neiman, and Maureen Cianciolo.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Grohoski will be held on Wednesday July 13th at 10:00a.m at Saint John the Evangelist Church 574 Main St Watertown. Those planning on attending are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family at Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Mrs. Grohoski can be made to CT Hospice. The O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main Street Oakville, CT has been entrusted with the arrangements.
