AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME
Wolcott CT - Ms. Elizabeth A. Mullaly, age 85, of Hamden CT, died peacefully December 08, 2011 at Wolcott View Manor surrounded by her loving family, after an extended illness.

Elizabeth was born January 18, 1926 in Waterbury, Connecticut, daughter of the late John & Elizabeth (Mulligan) Mullaly. She attended Post Junior College, and worked as a medical technician, first in the lab at Saint Mary's Hospital for ten years and then at Yale Medical School, as an associate in the research department and in the departments of pathology and the surgical section of neuropathy. She was employed there for 33 years before her retirement. She served on the Board of Directors of the Waterbury Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Mario DeCicco and was also a former member of the Quota Club. She traveled extensively throughout the world and the USA.

Although she had a small immediate family she was deeply loved and admired by her friends and they were all a very important part of her life. She will be forever missed.
Among her survivors are her nieces and nephews, Nicholas Urbano and his wife Eleanor of Waterbury, Michael Mullaly and his wife Tommasina of Waterbury and Katherine Mullaly of Corona CA.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the exceptional staff and care givers in the west wing at Wolcott View Manor, These wonderful people went above and beyond their job to provide exceptional loving care during Elizabeth's stay. As well as a special thanks to Angela, Katherine Kunda, Rosemary, Tammy, Ilke, Claudia, and Colette, for all you did especially in this past year.
Funeral services for Ms. Mullaly will be held Monday, December 12, 2011 at 10:00am from Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home1581 East Main St. to Saints Peter & Paul Church 56 Southmayd Rd for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow in the Queen of Peace Mausoleum of Calvary Cemetery. Family and Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday morning from 8:00 AM till 10:00 AM.
