OAKVILLE - Emma (Ferrer) Morales Arroyo, age 92, of Oakville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 3rd 2021 at Autumn Lakes Health Care Center in Waterbury surrounded by the love and comfort of her family after a brief illness. She was the widow of Nester Ferrer Perez.
Emma was born March 15th 1928 the daughter of the late Juan Morales Fraticelli and Librada Arroyo Marcucci in Penuelas, Puerto Rico where she was raised. Emma moved to the Connecticut area in the early 50's and last worked as a machine operator for Anchor Fasteners where she retired in 1990. After retirement, Emma looked forward to her many trips back and forth from Puerto Rico to Connecticut where she enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, and spending time in her garden.
Emma's family would like to thank and acknowledge the staff and care givers at Autumn Lakes Health Care Center for all the love and support they provided to Emma and her family during her illness. In addition, her family would like to acknowledge her nieces, Noemi Garcia and Karina Feliciano Marcucci, for the care they provided to Emma during her time in Puerto Rico.
Left to honor Emma's love and legacy, are her children Judith Lopez and her husband, Alexander, Cesar Ferrer and his wife, Penny, Jose Ferrer and his wife, Mary Jo, her daughter in-law Ana Ferrer, her sister Marina Morales Arroyo and her grandchildren Juan, Jason, Denise, David, Jessica, Nicholas, and Joshua. She also leaves her great grandchildren Jaylynn, Nathan, Michael, Raegan, and Myles. She is predeceased by her sons Nestor Ferrer and John Ferrer.
Funeral services for Mrs. Morales Arroyo will be announced at a later date in the spring of 2021.
