Waterbury - Mrs. Eneria (Tejada) Jaquez age 91, of Waterbury CT died Friday, January 10, 2013 at the Vitas Innovative Care Unit of Saint Mary's Hospital after an extended illness surrounded by his loving family. She was the widow of Leopoldo Jaquez.
Eneria was born July 31, 1921 in the Dominican Republic, where she was raised. She was a dedicated homemaker who devoted her life to raising her family. She loved to cook and spend time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a dedicated parishioner of the Spanish 7th Day Adventist Church in Waterbury where she spent many years as a dedicated communicant and volunteer. She loved the Lord, her family, and cooking
Among her survivors are her daughters Francisca Nunez , and Yvilisse Jaquez both of Waterbury, her grandchildren Betty, Yvette, Jeffrey, and Wanda. Her great grandchildren, Julio, Anthony, Natalia, Isaiah, Toni, Joshua, Olivia, Cesar, Stanley and Marcel and well as her great great granddaughter, Jaya.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jaquez will be held Sunday January 13,2013 at 2:30 p.m. at EASTSIDE MEMORIAL, "A Casey Family Funeral Home and Tribute Center" 1987 East Main St at Southmayd Rd. Waterbury. Family and Friends may visit at the funeral home from 1:00 until the time of the service. A Graveside burial service will be held Monday at 9:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterbury.
