OAKVILLE- Enis L. (Bianchini) DellaCamera, 95, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Daniel R. DellaCamera.
Enis was born to the late Vincent and Catherine (Pasini) Bianchini. She was a resident of Oakville for 63 years before moving to Cheshire in 2011. She was employed as a timekeeper at the former Waterbury Tool Company, worked in the Watertown School System for many years, and then retired from her job as a unit clerk at Waterbury Hospital. Even after retirement, she took a job at TLC Learning Center in Oakville. Enis was an active member of the Cheshire Senior Center and a parishioner at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Cheshire. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor, her American patriotism, and her love for all things Italian.
Besides her husband and parents, Mrs. DellaCamera was predeceased by her sisters, Clara Annulli, Anne Fluornoy; and her brother, Alfred Bianchini. She is survived by her two daughters and their spouses, Mary and Terrence Shortelle of Wallingford, Donna and Roy Nordstrom of Durham; her grandchildren, Amy Bevins and her husband Christopher of Wallingford, Sara Catherine Nordstrom, and Daniel Roy Nordstrom of Durham; and her sister-in-law, Loretta DellaCamera of Oakville; as well as, several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Mary Magdalen Church, 16 Buckingham St. Oakville, CT 06779. Relatives and friends may visit with Mrs. DellaCamera's family from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street, Oakville, CT. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Watertown.
