Mr. Enrique Lugo Hernandez

WATERBURY – Enrique Lugo Hernandez, age 44, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully and went to eternal rest with the Lord on March 1, 2024, at Waterbury Center for Nursing & Rehab.

Enrique was born September 3rd , 1979, in Mexico City, Mexico, the son of Fidencio Lugo and Irma
Hernandez. He is survived by his wife Ofelia Rendon, his brother Ernesto Lugo; his three children
Gisselle Lugo, Angel Lugo, Sinai Lugo, his grandson Ayaan Fazeel, and his loving family. He always loved to cook for his family and friends in the most delicious home cooked meals. Enrique worked as a cook for many different restaurants, his most recent employment was at a pizzeria. Enrique also had a love for soccer and played in many soccer teams. He was an avid fan of Club America in the Mexican Soccer league. He always made sure his kids were doing well and provided for them as best as he could, along with first grandson; Ayaan Fazeel. He loved his family but also his nieces and nephews and took care of them like they were his own. He was loved by his entire family and many friends who often enjoyed his company.

Funeral Services for Mr. Lugo Hernandez will be held on Tuesday, March 5th, at 10:30 A.M. from
Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral and Cremation Care located at 1987 East Main St, Waterbury, to All Saints/ Todos Los Santos Parish located at 515 S Main St, Waterbury, to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M.. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to visit Enrique’s family on Tuesday morning from 9AM to 10:30 AM until leaving for All Saints at 10:30 AM.
