Enrique Quirindongo ?" age 87 of S. Main Street Waterbury died Sunday August 17, 2008 at Saint Mary's Hospital after a extended illness. Enrique was born July 8th 1921 in Ponce, Puerto Rico the son of the late Cornelio and Rosa (Torres) Quirindongo and worked as a auto body repair man
He is survived by six sons Enrique Quirindongo Jr. of Waterbury; Angel Quirindongo, of Waterbury; Francisco Ortiz, of New Haven; Noel Quirindongo, of Waterbury; Carlos Vega, of Waterbury; and Jaime Vega of Waterbury. Six daughters Eleyn Quirindongo, Mayra Quirindongo, Gladys Quirindongo, Carmen Quirindongo, Norma Quirindongo, and Maria Vega, all of Waterbury. Two brothers Marcelo Quirindongo, of Puerto Rico; Serafin Quirindongo of New York; four sisters Delfina Quirindongo of Maryland; Pedra Quirindongo, of Puerto Rico, Inez Quirindongo, of Puerto Rico; Lucila Quirindongo, of Puerto Rico; as well as many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son Javier Quirindongo.
Funeral Services for Mr. Quirindongo will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 8:00 a.m. from the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 East Main St. Waterbury to Sacred Heart Church, "Sagrado Corazon" 13 Wolcott St. Waterbury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00am. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8pm.
