Waterbury - Eric Bruce Hassan, age 24, of East Farm St. Waterbury, died tragically on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 in Wolcott. He was the fiancée of Daivon Perry.
Eric was born May 6, 1985 in Waterbury, the son of William Hassan of Winsted and Dorothy Mahoney of Waterbury. Eric was employed by Gaudiosi Hauling of Wolcott. He was a loving and dedicated father who enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his two daughters. Eric enjoyed bicycling as well as tinkering and repairing anything.
Besides his fiancée and parents, Eric is survived by his two daughters, Daneijia and Jayda Hassan of Waterbury, 3 brothers, William Hassan of Bridgeport and Ryan and Bryan Hassan of Waterbury, his sister, Alicia Hassan of North Carolina, several aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends and extended family members.
Funeral services for Mr. Hassan will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 3:00pm at the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 East Main St Waterbury, with the Rev. Mark Pilletere of the Mill Plain Union Church, Waterbury, presiding. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00pm till the service commences at 3:00pm.
