OAKVILLE- Erminia Antico, 87, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 at St. Mary's Hospital with her family at her side. Her health declined rapidly as her physical heart began to fail, but her emotional heart was strong to the end.
Erminia was born on June 20,1932 to the late Rocco and Antoinette (Ortone) Antico. Erminia was a woman with unwavering faith, her rosary pinned to her shirt, close to her heart. Surely, her devotion to God is being rewarded as she enters the gates of Heaven toward eternal peace. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Left to cherish her memory and honor Erminia's love and legacy, is her sister Mary LaPlante and several close family members.
Funeral services for Erma will be on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 16 Buckingham St. Oakville, CT 06779 to celebrate Mass of Christian Burial. All those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. There are no calling hours. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, to honor Erminia's memory, donations may be made to Super Paws Rescue, Inc, PO Box 1411 Fairfield, CT 06825.
