WATERBURY- Ernest M. Kozen, age 70 of Waterbury, entered the Gates of Heaven on Monday, September 9, 2019 at home, in hospice care, with his wife by his side. He was the husband of Irene (Robacker) Kozen.
Ernest was born October 16, 1948 in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Ernest J. Kozen and Helen Kozen. Ernest grew up in the Waterbury area where he attended local schools and spent many years working as a toolmaker. He enjoyed golf and bowling with his loving wife. Ernest will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to remember, cherish and honor Ernest's love and legacy, besides his wife of 35 years, are his sister, Joy Kozen of Westcliff, CO as well as the extended Robacker family, including several nieces and nephews. Ernest was predeceased by his brother, Steve Kozen and his sister.
Funeral services for Mr. Kozen will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main St. Oakville, CT 06779. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Watertown. Relatives and friends may visit with Ernest's family on Saturday morning September 14, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
