WATERBURY - Ethel White - Stallings, age 78 of Waterbury passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. She was the wife of Loden Stallings.
Ms. Stallings was born on February 21, 1941 in Gatesville NC, the daughter of the late Allen Grant and Erma White. She was educated in NC and worked for many years as a machine operator at Electro Tech Inc. Ethel loved the lord, gardening, doing crossword puzzles, reading and gospel music but what was most important to her in life was her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Besides her husband of 62 years, Ethel leaves her nine devoted children; sons; Larry, Herman, Randy and Billy Stallings and daughters; Gennie Stallings-Thompson, Geraldine Stallings-West, and Juanita Stallings, Carolyn Stallings - Redding and Michelle Stallings. She also leaves three brothers, two sisters many grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, James Stallings, two sisters and one brother.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stallings will be held on Friday June 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with Ethel's family on Friday morning from 9:00 till 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
