Mr. Eugene P. Korzynski

PROSPECT - Eugene P. Korzynski, age 83, of Prospect, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 22nd, 2024 in the comfort of his home surrounded by the love and comfort of his family, after a brief illness. He was the beloved widower of Evelyn (Sanifas) Korzynski.  

Eugene was born on July 3, 1941, in Waterbury, CT, son of the late Eugene E. and Stella T. (Jankowski) Korzynski. He was a graduate of Kaynor Technical High School, proudly served our country in the United States Army, and went on to work as a tool maker for many years at Mark Eyelet of Wolcott. Eugene enjoyed spending time fishing, and line dancing, but it was in the presence of his family that Eugene found his greatest source of comfort and contentment. Those who were fortunate enough to know Eugene will remember him for his kind spirit, and his unwavering love. His laughter and gentle nature touched the hearts of all who crossed his path, leaving behind fond memories that will be cherished forever.

Left to honor his legacy and memory are his children; John Robert Moscariello of Carolina Beach, NC, Ronald Thomas Moscariello of Prospect, and Jennifer Korzynski of Prospect, his seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. He also leaves behind his sister, Barbara Zagorski of Wallingford, along with extended family and friends. Eugene was predeceased by his wife Evelyn, and his daughter-in-law, Jeanne Brown Moscariello, and nephew and cherished godson Jeffrey Zagorski. 

Funeral services for Mr. Korzynski will be held privately at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours.
