WATERTOWN, CT - Eugene R. McEvoy age 74 of 470 Straits Turnpike, Watertown died Tuesday at Waterbury Hospital.
Mr. McEvoy was born in Waterbury a son of the late John J. and Gertrude (Templeton) McEvoy and lived most of his life in Waterbury. Mr. McEvoy retired from CL&P where he had worked as a manager.
Mr. McEvoy leaves a son William E. McEvoy of Woodbury, three daughters Catherine M. Zimyeski of Waterbury, Jane Scatena of Naugatuck and Jean Bogucki of Jensen Beach FL, a Brother John F. McEvoy of Ireland, 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral Services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home has been entrusted to assist the family with the arrangements.
