AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME - WATERBURY CT. Mrs. Eunice "Una" Giardino, age 93, formerly of 29 Fairmount St Waterbury, passed away on Sunday April 10th at the Apple Rehab Center of Watertown, after a long illness.
Mrs. Giardino was born March 2, 1918 in Plaster Rock, New Brunswick, Canada the daughter of the late George and Clara (Bishop) Langin. After coming to this country, she married and became a US citizen. She was employed for many years at the Waterbury Buckle Company, and was also a caregiver.
She will be sadly missed by her sister, Clara Mae and brother in-law, Harold Hatfield of Woodstock, New Brunswick Canada. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, mostly in Canada and Gardena Forester and Denise Blansfield of Waterbury.
Mrs. Giardino's family would like to thank the staff at Apple Rehab for the excellent care they have provided to Eunice during her extended illness.
Services for Mrs. Giardino are held private and will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
